Hi! I'm Heather - a Denver web designer.

While I can’t say I’m a native (I grew up in Minnesota), I have lived in Denver for almost 14 years and absolutely love it!

Shortly after moving to Colorado in 2011, I started working as web designer in downtown Denver for DTC Energy Group, a startup oilfield consulting firm.

Success with DTC

Desperately needing branding, a website and SEO, DTC put its trust in me to take the lead. I saw amazing opportunities for SEO and was able to make DTC the top search result for oilfield consulting, onsite oilfield supervision, oilfield consulting jobs, and a long list of related search terms.

With such strong SEO performance, DTC was able to grow from 40 to more than 200 consultants. The company thrived for many years before instability in oil prices and economic downturn led to its closure in 2024.

Expanding in Denver & Beyond

While working for DTC, I have also been able to provide web design, SEO and marketing services to a variety of other clients, including restaurants, retail stores, consulting firms, realtors and healthcare services companies.

While I love specializing in web design and SEO, it has also been fun gaining experience promoting local businesses. From managing social media and email marketing campaigns to promoting local events and designing ads, I enjoy helping my clients expand their reach and grow their business.

Life in Colorado

When I’m not working, I stay extremely busy shuttling my kids to and from school, dance, gymnastics, and all the things! Being a dancer myself, I love squeezing in barre classes whenever I get a chance.

With more than 300 days of sunshine here in Denver, I love getting out for walks with our two pups and taking in our gorgeous sunsets.

Colorado provides so many amazing places to visit. My favorite so far is Grand Lake, which feels like a piece of Minnesota nestled into the Rockies with all the trees, beautiful lakes and minimal commercialization!

I now work from home in Highlands Ranch, happily serving clients throughout the Denver metro area and remotely across the country.
